When you come down to it, dealing with the Thorne Girls is a lot like dealing with Rozen or Barem or Ib; they’re just more pleasant to look at.
“We just want to go to the Arcade, Acacia. “
“It’s nice to have wants.” That’s Massima; she’s always a little sharper than Acacia. All you can really do is smile at her.
“Nicer to have them fulfilled.”
Acacia chuckles unkindly. “In a perfect world, we’d all get what we want.”
And that’s what it comes down to. “Well, Acacia cy’Doug, what is it that you want today?”
“Depends.” Her smile is only growing. “What is it you want?”
“We-” you’re sure to emphasize the plural there “-want to go to the Arcade. We’d like to pass through unharmed.”
She looks thoughtful, although you’re pretty sure it’s an act. “I’d give you that – we, the Thorne Girls, would give you that – for one day of service, each.”
