The new class of students entering the Addergoole School think that they’re normal  – or, at the very least, human.  They think that they’re being sent to a normal boarding school.

They’re wrong.

Nobody in the underground school is human: not the staff, not the older students, and not the new class. Being demi-human comes with benefits – a curriculum full of magic, for starters – but it comes with new challenges, as well. And as things begin to get hard, the students discover there’s no way out.
